I was having one of "those" days. My hair would not turn out right, I could blame my new shampoo and the fact that I need a haircut but nope, I'm blaming the "day." Two of my kids woke up crying, only one was a baby! All my clothes were feeling snug, and the ones that weren't I didn't want to wear because it is supposed to be really hot here today. I either need to lose these last few pounds or buy new clothes. I have a mile-long list of things to do and kids who need my attention all. the. time. today.
*sigh* It was feeling like one of "those" days for sure.
Then my sweet Zoe said, "mommy you look pretty today." I said, "huh?" And then I said, "thanks." Guess she knew I needed that. I love her a whole lot.
Here she is before her competition last weekend. Don't you just love these unposed shots? Wow, my pantry door looks crazy and you can see dinner (for the boys) ingredients on the stove laid out for later, it is blurry... ugh. Real life is kind of crazy sometimes, not all pretty-posed-perfect I guess. The only other picture I took at last week's competition. (This is the insane awards assembly. I hate them, they last forever and it is just kind of unorganized chaos.) It was a loooooong one, the competition and awards. We were there for 12 hours! No, I am not kidding. Me, Zoe, and the baby. 12 hours. You can imagine the drama (not just me and Zoe but the other dancers and their moms) that was occurring by the end of the night. I don't know why I didn't take any more photos, kind of bummed about that. We got home at midnight and promptly crashed. I keep telling my Big Tall Hubby, they don't make a show called "Dance Moms" for nothing!
Have a great weekend!

Oh my! So sweet. I think I would've fallen out in the floor. I love when their sweet words come at just the right time! Enjoy the week.
Hope you are feeling better! I can relate to those days too. Love her smile in that picture!
Blessings,
Jill
