smile-worthy

If yesterday's post made me cringe, this one makes me smile. I just love when something works the way I want. This is the new basket for my kids' toothbrushing supplies. Their old buckets were really yucky all the time and a pain to clean, not dishwasher safe equals not smart for my house. I found this basket for $1 in the college supply clearance section of my grocery.

A new basket is not a big deal for others but for me, it just makes my day. Yes, there are three different toothpastes: Zoe won't share with the boys, Parker has to use the special sensitive kind, Tanner still uses the toddler kind. There is even room for one more toothbrush for when Asher gets some teeth. :) The little glasses are just to keep the brushes upright and not touching (heaven forbid!). And I don't know if your kids use those flossers, but mine love them. They don't do a perfect job but I feel like some flossing is better than no flossing!

Very nice! Big points from the Dental Assistant! Not too many parents even mention flosing to their kids let alone buy them fun flossers!

And, I have to agree with the comments from yesterday...that room doesn't even look that bad...you should see my boys' room!

So organized and all handy too! Brady uses those flossers too...maybe if I put them out on the counter where he can see them instead of under the sink in the vanity, maybe he would use them more!

My boys love to "chew" floss. My Father-in-law even uses a picture of Zach (from when he was little) he has so much floss in his mouth in looks like spaghetti. He's got the pic hanging up reminding his patients to floss.

Oh yes! I love this. My downstairs bathroom...the one right beside the back door currently has opened toothpaste tubes and 3 toothbrushes just thrown around the sink. I guess I should be glad they brush before school...but really. Clean up your mess. I am going to get one of these and extra toothbrushes to keep under the sink. I just wonder if they can even put them up then.
